The Al Huda Library supports KG1–12 learning with a rich mix of books, e-resources, and quiet study spaces—rooted in Islamic values, curiosity, and adab.

Mission & Values

The Al Huda Library nurtures a love of reading, information literacy, and lifelong learning within an Islamic ethical framework. We support coursework across KG1–12, character education (adab), and community engagement. We promote:

  • Amanah (trust): Responsible use of shared materials and spaces.
  • Adab (character): Respect, kindness, and academic honesty.
  • Ilm (knowledge): Access to quality, age‑appropriate resources in print and digital formats.

Information & Services

  • Books & Media: Picture books, fiction/nonfiction, Islamic studies, Arabic titles, audiobooks.

  • E-Resources: eBooks, research databases, curated encyclopedias (on-campus & remote sign-in).

  • Study & Tech: Study tables, OPAC computers, devices (as available), printing support.

  • Programs: Read-alouds, reading challenges, book clubs, author visits, research mini-lessons.

  • KG1–2: 2 items · 2 weeks

  • Gr 3–5: 3 items · 3 weeks

  • Gr 6–8: 4 items · 3 weeks

  • Gr 9–12: 5 items · 3 weeks

  • Fine-Free for Students: Return or renew; replacement fees only for lost/damaged items.
    (Some equipment is library-use or day-use with an agreement.)
