Math Instructor (Elementary Grades)
We’re seeking a passionate Math Instructor to teach core math concepts to elementary students (KG–Grade 6). The ideal candidate designs engaging lessons, differentiates instruction for diverse learners, and partners with families and staff to support student growth.
Job Functions

Plan and deliver daily math lessons aligned to school standards and pacing guides.

Use manipulatives, visuals, and real-world examples to build conceptual understanding.

Assess learning (formative/summative), track progress, and adjust instruction.

Provide small-group/one-on-one support and enrichment as needed.

Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and goals.

Collaborate with grade-level team on cross-curricular projects and assessments.

Participate in staff meetings, PD, and school events.
Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Education or Mathematics (Master’s a plus).

Current teaching certificate/license preferred (or in progress).

Strong knowledge of elementary math pedagogy and differentiation.

Comfortable with Google Workspace/LMS and basic classroom technology.

Clear communication, organization, and classroom-management skills.

Commitment to student well-being and inclusive practices.
Other Requirements

Successful background check and reference checks.

First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to stand/move for extended periods and support the classroom setup.

Availability for occasional after-school events.
